Information technology continues to be the most dynamic area of the application and development of the project management methods and tools. According to PMI, 33% of all PMI members in 2011 were working in IT industry. In the Moscow PMI chapter about 50% of members are working in the IT area today. Despite the penetration of project management in different industries, this share is persisting. Modern methods of software development become represented in international standards, and information systems manufacturers and vendors around the world continue to develop their own methodologies for the projects rollout and IT solutions implementation. Developing software and engineering information systems for the modern society often requires competencies never known or demanded before. To support the interest in exchanging knowledge and experience expressed by the IT-engaged part of our community, the Moscow PMI chapter holds the 4th International Forum “New Competencies in Management of IT projects”. Register now to take the full advantage of the program and networking opportunities!
